Frank Lampard

OK so it could have been Bonzo but he was more than just a full-back but Bonds and Lampard were my favourite pair.

I can remember Frank breaking into the first team. He scored that goal at Elland Road. Played over 650 goals (even missing one complete season after some Sheff Utd player broke his leg) and scored a few excellent goals.

Re: your favorite Hammers full back
He was a great footballer Hugh and the best left back in England for a while. The Kitson/Hartson season we were only still in with a chance of staying up because of him. His thuggish reputation overshadowed how important he was to us. His performance against Spurs in the 4-3 is up there with the best I've ever seen by a hammer.

I've always loved a full back me.

It has to be Julian though. Carried us for a good few seasons. I loved it when he was here and love the fact he's back.

Disgusted me some of the stuff said about a true Hammers legend on this site after we lost a couple of games earlier in the season.

Julian - Don't need to explain why. Cresswell is probably around 20% the player Dicksy was. That's not a dig at Cressers either, just giving it some perspective of how good he was.
